We’re back in action after our February 2025 flood closure and look forward to seeing customers at our roadside van in the Cardwell Rest Area, as well as catering for events across the region.

Jane Emerson has been producing beautiful food in Cardwell for many years. Her restaurant background and fine cooking skills ensure her frequently updated menus are fresh, tasty and reasonably priced.

Jane’s Catering produces excellent event menus, whether finger foods, tantalizing buffets or upmarket individual menus. Jane prides herself on creating custom menus to suit your particular event or occasion.

Jane catered for my Dads 60th celebration at Mahi Mahi Hinchinbrook last night and it was AMAZING! So much more food than we expected and tasted fantastic. A top find on the way out of Cardwell. We were served the most awesome “yummy” bacon & egg rolls for brekkie with the optional additions of cheese, onion & grated cheese. Cooked to our fussy preference. A top feed !!!!! The view from the shaded tables & seats is of course “perfect”.

We were visiting Cardwell for a few days and came across Jane’s Healthy Food Truck on a walk. We just had a milkshake the first day which was delicious. We saw Jane had a prawn and avocado roll and a crab and avocado roll on the menu. So the next day we had both for our brunch with a caramel milkshake. A delicious brunch. The service we received was friendly and professional.
